Today we are also reading from Exodus. Looking in Chapter 17, the same Israelites who displayed wavering faith in our study yesterday seemed to quickly forget how the Lord provided for them again.
What happens in this passage is nothing short of a miracle. How many times have you seen fresh water emerge from a dry rock in the middle of the desert?
Yet, even in experiencing countless miracles that only the Lord could have performed, the Israelites continued to test Him and his faithfulness.
No wonder it’s so easy for us to glance over the daily miracles in our lives and question God’s presence.
When going through trials of your own, how often do you forget the many times God has delivered you before?
While many of us are spending our summer days enjoying the beach or laying poolside, how does the idea that almost one billion people in the world lack access to clean water to even drink or bathe challenge you?
